Dave Hillyard on Roots Rock Rebel!

Roots Rock Rebel
Wednesday, October 8th, 2008
CKUT, 90.3FM, Montreal!

Hi folks,
Hope you all have had a good week! Perhaps some of you are tired from all
the shows last week, Pop Montreal, the economic apocalypse, etc., so y'all
should kick back and relax and download this week's podcast of Roots Rock

I had the chance to sit down and interview Dave Hillyard, not of the Black
Panther Party (unfortunately), but of the Slackers, when they were in
Montreal a couple weeks back. I think you will enjoy this interview with
Dave, talking about the things he loves, like Jamaican music, politics,
and food.

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more interviews from the likes of The
Afterbeat (myspace.com/theafterbeat), Hub City Stompers
(www.hubcitystompers.com), and Bomb Town (myspace.com/bombtown).

Until next week,

Stay rude, stay rebel,
RRR crew
