Martin Lawrie es el DJ y coleccionista que se esconde tras las webs <http://www.tittyshakers.com>  y
http://www.soulgeneration.co.uk. Se convirtió en un coleccionista de vinilo compulsivo en su
adolescencia. Coorganiza el “Rubber Room” en Nottingham, un club mensual dedicado a una mezcla
Rockabilly, Rhythm’n’blues, Garage y sonidos tittyshaker. Ha sido invitado como DJ en numerosos
clubs en UK, así como también por aquí, en Valencia, al Funtastic Dracula Festival. Esperaos un mix
salvaje de 45s orientados a la pista de baile…

Con un inicio como Radioactive Psychobilly Kid a mediados de los ochenta,
Captain Vics Recordmachine se encuentra ahora en su segunda década de dedicación a hacer sonar 45s al
único objeto de animar la pista de baile. Con una profunda pasión por el Rockin and Electric Blues,
elige una mezcla de 50s y 60s Movers, desde Bop hasta Watusi, desde
Cajun a Exotica, desde Little Walter a Gene Vincent. Es asimismo desde hace bastante tiempo promotor
en Hamburgo de eventos en la escena Rockin,
como el Thunder’n’Lightning Rock’n’Roll Club con sus Party Series: The Rock-A-Billy Allinighter. De
este modo es como ha conseguido llevar a tocar a más de un centenar de bandas y DJs de todo el planeta.
Su última aventura son las sesiones “DELINQUENT BEATS Night”, en que se combina una sala dedicada al
60s RnB+Soul con otra dedicada a sonidos 50s RnR, Blues y Rockabilly, para de este modo lograr la
sintonía perfecta: Shakers & Boppers! Entre sus referencias como DJ cabe referir sesiones como 20
FLIGHT ROCK, BIG B JAMBOREE, HOT ROD DECANDENCE, WILDCAT NIGHT, MC CORMACKS BALLROOM, 12/10 STUTTGART
o HANGAR ROCKIN. Definitivamente, no te lo pierdas si te gustan los sonidos más salvajes!

Primero se dejó seducir por las botas y los tirantes, y después por el formato original del reggae.
Desde entonces el early reggae y el rocksteady han sido su pasión, aunque en sus selecciones siempre
se decanta por el boss reggae. Batería de “The Peeping Toms” desde su fundación, y de Laurel Aitken,
Rico Rodríguez y Roy Ellis en diferentes giras. Co-organizador de “Boss Sounds to Beat the Ground”
(Segovia y Madrid). Fue residente de “Cool Reggae Nights” (Soul Club, Madrid). En muchos clubs de
Madrid se ha podido escuchar su selección de reggae, además de en Segovia, Cataluña, Valencia, Galicia,
y Sevilla.

Martin Lawrie is the dj and record hound behind www.tittyshakers.com <http://www.tittyshakers.com>  
and www.soulgeneration.co.uk <http://www.soulgeneration.co.uk>  websites, he became an obsessive
vinyl collector in his early teens. He jointly runs the Rubber Room in Nottingham - a monthly
clubnight that plays a heavy mix of rockabilly, rhythm’n’blues, garage and tittyshaker sounds. He
has dj’d at numerous clubs across the UK as well as the Funtastic Dracula Festival. Expect a savage
mix of wild dancefloor orientated 45’s.

Started as a Radioactive Psychobilly Kid way back in the mid Eighties,
Captain Vics Recordmachine is now in his second decade of spinning 45s only
for nonstop Dance Amusement. With a deep feel for Rockin and Electric Blues
he is mixing a wide range of 50s and 60s Movers, from Bop to Watusi, from
Cajun to Exotica, from Little Walter to Gene Vincent. He is a long time Rockin Events Promoter in
Hamburg as well,
used to run the Thunder’n’Lightning RocknRoll Club Hamburg with his best known Party Series: The
Rock-A-Billy Allinighter. Put shows together for more than a hundred of bands and DJs from all
round the globe. His latest Attraction is the DELINQUENT BEATS Night, combining a Sixties RnB+Soul
Floor with a 50s RnR, Blues and Rockabilly Floor for pleasing both: Shakers and Boppers! Amongst
his DJ References you’ll find spots and parties like 20 FLIGHT ROCK, BIG B JAMBOREE, HOT ROD
DECANDENCE, WILDCAT NIGHT, MC CORMACKS BALLROOM, 12/10 STUTTGART and HANGAR ROCKIN. Dont miss him

Since then, early reggae and rocksteady have been his passion, although boss reggae is what drives
his selections. Drummer of “The Peeping Toms” since their foundation, and of Laurel Aitken, Rico
Rodríguez and Roy Ellis in various tours. Co-organizer of “Boss Sounds to Beat the Ground”
(Segovia and Madrid) and resident at the “Cool Reggae Nights” (Soul Club, Madrid), he has selected
reggae in many clubs in Madrid, apart from Segovia, Catalunya, Valencia, Galiza, and Seville.
